This couple has been with me through this crazy, fun and addicting profession since the beginning! They gave me my first start with their engagement shoot in the BX dog park which was amazing. Big relief that it went well because then I got booked to photograph their wedding (photos on my site…my first wedding ever)! I find out AFTER the wedding that they’re expecting in January! WOOHOO! I’m booked for a maternity and newborn shoot *happy dance.*

The maternity shoot was at a home in Winfield, BC. The house overlooks Winfield and has a gorgeous view of Okanagan Lake. I’m coming back to do Spring/Summer family photos with the lake in the background surrounded by mountains. Oh yes…I will be there!  It was too foggy and flipping’ cold to get some great winter shots this time around. BUT Maggie and I did manage to get Donavin outside for a few minutes of cuddling fun.

Would you believe that less than five days later Alexander Scott was born?! Talk about perfect timing with the maternity shoot! I think some relatives will be getting maternity photos along with the newborn announcements.

I have to say that I’m loving newborn shoots! Every photo was cuter than the next and I didn’t want to come to the end of my photos. I was happy to send off the edited photos and yet sad because all of that cuteness was now done. Please contact me if you would like newborn photos as I’m already experiencing withdrawal.
